Your Investment Gateway to Green Agricultural Revolution

Over the years, Agriculture has continually feed the entire human population, producing fiber for clothing, feeds for livestock and bioenergy for daily functional activities. Predominantly in the developing world, Agriculture contributes significantly to the Gross Domestic Product growth which leads the way in poverty reduction and accounts for the biggest share of employment opportunities. CDMA, as part of its investment strategy in developing food production and ensuring Nigeria takes part in the production, supply and preservation of food and other agricultural resources within and outside Africa, collaborates with the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture & Cooperatives to bring about growth and development of the production of Agricultural resources. CDMA first Phase agenda is to collaborate with the Government of South-West, Nigeria in achieving food security.



This initiative also focuses on building Lagos State as a merchant of diverse food crop production that can enhance the commercialization of Agricultural innovations in the State. Thus, it is aimed at ensuring that hunger is eradicated, Job opportunities within the Agricultural sector are made available and food is secured within Lagos State and other South West regions. Furthermore, Since Lagos State is one of the biggest commercial cities in Africa, the initiative will help foreign investors to contribute to the production, supply, distribution, sustainability marketing, packaging, quality control and consumption of Agricultural inputs in Lagos State which will gradually expand into other regions within and outside Africa.

CDMA will work in line with the Strategic Programme for Accelerated Agricultural Growth (SPAAG), a road map policy document Initiated by the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture & Cooperative through the Hon. Commissioner- Prince Gbolahan Lawal, to improve agricultural output and productivity.

CDMA will also revamp the Agric-Yes facility located in Epe, to further address knowledge gaps and manpower issues by training of farmers in the latest farming techniques and encourage young people to consider agriculture as career through the programmes.

The collaboration between CDMA and the Ministry will attract and give rewarding opportunities to foreign investors in order to take advantage of Agricultural prospects in Lagos State as it begins massive exportation, supply, distribution, packaging of food crops and other Agricultural produce for local consumers and to other countries of the world which will generate revenue for the sustenance and development of Agriculture in the State.

The Government of Lagos is presently developing various communities within the State by repairing and constructing roads, improvement in electricity and water supply and infrastructural development that will contribute to the overall economic revitalization of the State.
